Build a Team for a Fun-filled Children's Literature Trivia Night!

Illustrator Melissa Sweet, Author David Elliott and Curious City's Kirsten Cappy will turn the page of cherished children's books to test your kidlit knowledge. For example...

What 2018 picture book by a Mexican American creator honors the power of libraries in immigrant lives?

What is the last word that Charlotte writes into her web, in E.B. White's Charlotte's Web?

BUILD A TEAM
Build a team of 2-6 bookish friends from anywhere in the world to compete on Zoom.

HOW TO PURCHASE A TEAM TICKET
The "Team Captain" should buy a single ticket above where it reads "Become a Team Captain." Individual team members do not need to buy tickets! The $80 ticket price covers your team of 2-6 players.

THE WINNING TEAM
Winning team members will each win a piece of original Melissa Sweet art!
The second place team members will each receive two Welcoming Library picture books of their choice!

BENEFITING ORGANIZATION
The night will benefit I'm Your Neighbor Books and their work to create a culture of belonging with their traveling Welcoming Library. By sharing children's books about New Arrivals and New Americans with schools and libraries, I'm Your Neighbor Books is turning the page on anti-immigrant sentiment.

COMPANION RAFFLE
Each trivia player will be automatically entered in a companion raffle. 45 prizes, contributed by children's literature creators, will be awarded to random raffle ticket holders at the end of the trivia night. Winning items will include illustration art, personalized books, read-aloud kits and more. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased by both players and non-players.

TRIVIA MASTER
This trivia challenge will be run by the brilliant Bob Carney of Stump! Trivia with questions created with children's librarian Colleen Carney.

OUR THANKS
We are so grateful to you for the work you do in the world and for joining us for a night of children's literature camaraderie.
